Why.. WHY?

I look into the top tracks of all time and all I see is video game music, that has either been remade, techno-fied or Drum n Bass-fied. Why are these the top tracks? Yeah fair enough people have put a bit of effort in, but most have just remixed a midi which is so easy to do, or even if they have placed all the notes themselves, its still someone else's work in essence. Why does no-one on here appreciate true original talent?

People who make their own stuff, some of which I'm blown away by get no recognition except some fucking techno idiot saying oh its boring because it doesn't have a generic drum beat and sound happy and fucking annoying.

this site fucking sucks for that reason, but unfortunately, the interface and amount of people to review music is almost unmatchable elsewhere, so for that reason only, I will stay. I just wish that people who truly appreciate music and who don't just remake Zelda tunes start getting some proper recognition.
